Week 11 Predictions for the Mountain West Conference

4 out of the 5 games this week are on national TV. Although only one of the four are truly national (NBC), while the other give the exposure that the NHL has been enjoying since also leaving ESPN. With a win over TCU and help from teams above them this could be the return of the Cougars to the top 25.

Last Week 3-1
Overall 14-3
This Week:

TCU(5-4, 2-3) at BYU(6-2, 4-0) 7pm MT VS.
Night game, national TV, and Dennis Miller's show is premiering so that people actually know were Vs. is on their cable and satellite. Also with TCU coming off a huge win over New Mexico this has the makings of a statement game for BYU. Expect BYU to better handle the Horn Frogs defensive pressure, and shut down the staggering offense that TCU will throw at them.
BYU 35- TCU 17
Air Force(7-3, 5-2) at Notre Dame(1-8) 12:30pm MT NBC
The Irish are horrible. They don't have anything going on either offense or defense. The Cadets are coming off a home win against Army. Look for the luck of the Irish to continue to run short on this year as Air Force improves to 8-3.
Air Force 28 - Notre Dame 10
CSU(1-8, 1-5) at New Mexico(6-3, 3-2) 1:oopm MT The Mtn.
The Lobos loss to TCU was embarrassing! Now Colorado St is coming into Albuquerque the perfect cure for an off week. The Lobos will be looking to prove something on the field this week. With the disarray that is currently taking place with the Rams expect the Lobos to have a very very good week
New Mexico 42 - CSU 10
Wyoming(5-4, 2-3) at Utah(6-3, 3-2) 1:30pm MT CSTV
The Cowboys are in trouble. They have to play BYU and Utah in consecutive weeks. Who would have thought after the quick start that the Pokes might not be bowl eligible at the end of the season. The Utes will continue to build momentum going into LaVell Edwards stadium.
Utah 28- Wyoming 6
San Diego St.(3-5, 2-2) at UNLV(2-7, 1-4) 9:00pm MT CSTV
The battle of the cellar dwellers, and a 9 o'clock kick off. Yikes! There might be more people watching cave men then at the game in Vegas. Although the Aztecs have the must momentum they have had all year. Look for that to continue.
San Diego st. 24 UNLV 14
