Week 7 Predictions for the Mountain West Conference

New Mexico (3-2, 0-1) @ Wyoming (4-1, 1-0) The Mtn. 12PM MT

Prediction: This maybe the best game of the day in the Mountain West. If Wyoming wants to keep its hopes alive for a conference crown they need to beat a good Lobo team. This should be a grind it out on the ground, defensive stand off. I think the Lobos have a better offense and that will be the difference. It is never easy to win in Laramie; however, I think New Mexico will win a tight game.
New Mexico 17-Wyoming 14

San Diego St.(2-3, 1-0) @ Utah(3-3, 0-2)No TV 1PM MT

Prediction: I think this is the week that Utah will get over the top. They will get their first conference win. Although I think this is the hardest game to predict. Utah has shown NO consistency! I could see this be a blow out for either team. I do think Utah comes to play and wins big, to bad no TV no one will know about it.(oh wait that already doesn't happen with the Mtn!)
SDSU 13-Utah 38

TCU(3-3, 1-2) @ Stanford(2-3, 1-3) TBA 3PM MT

Prediction: Overrated! Good thing Stanford beat USC or TCU would have looked past this game as well. While they are the 98th ranked scoring offense in the nation, I think that they will be able to put enough points on the board to beat a pumped up Stanford team.
TCU 21- Stanford 10
Air Force(4-2, 3-1) @ Colorado St. (0-5, 0-2) The Mtn. 3:30PM MT

Prediction: Colorado St. may be the best 0-5 team in the history of college football. They had large leads against Colorado, Cal, and Houston. They were in both the TCU and San Diego St games. CSU is the type of team that if they were to get one win could go on a major winning streak and might even get back to .500. I see this being the first win of the season for the Rams and the start of one of the great season turn around in Fort Collins.
Air Force 14- CSU 24
BYU(3-2, 2-0) @ UNLV(2-4, 1-1) The Mtn. 7:30PM MT

UNLV has a great running back in Summers. Yet, BYU will run away with this game. Thanks in large part to the fans they will draw into what's becoming BYU's southern stadium.
BYU 42-UNLV 10
