Power Ranking The MWC

1) BYU - Bye week came at the right time with key players needing to recover from injuries.
2) WYOMING - Beat TCU in an ugly game. Still not sold on the Cowboys, but as always it is hard to go to Laramie and win. Plus getting BYU late in the year will help hopes of a conference crown. This weeks game against the Lobos will show a lot about this team.
3) NEW MEXICO - Good team that suffered a big loss to BYU. Huge test for the Lobos going to Wyoming this weekend. A win there puts them in the driver's seat for second place in the conference
4) AIR FORCE - Bounce back from loss to Navy and BYU with decisive win over UNLV. They are still a force to be reckoned with in the Mountain West.
5) UTAH - Go to Louisville and win. Now if only they could carry it over to conference play. If they do, WATCH OUT FOR THE UTES!
6) UNLV- Have a nasty running back with Summers. Not enough to beat the crafty cadets of Air Force. BYU needs to look out. UNLV is 2-0 against teams from Utah.
7) SAN DIEGO ST.- Two victories against D-1AA teams. Oh wait that was Colorado St....OUCH!
8) TCU- OVERRATED! The field goal against Air Force is looking pretty dumb.
9) COLORADO ST. - Good news they are the best 0-5 team in the nation. Bad news they are 0-5! That Georgia Southern game can't get here soon enough.
